More Great Speakers Announced for Social Brand Forum 2015

It’s hard to believe that Social Brand Forum 2015 is less than three months away. As we get closer to this industry-leading digital marketing experience, we wanted to take a moment and share some special announcements including new speakers, new sponsors, and an exciting new venue for our opening night reception. We wanted to remind you about all of this before the registration rate goes up on August 1st.

Let’s start with some speaker updates. (If you can’t take the excitement, it’s okay to go ahead and register now.) The Social Brand Forum brings some of the best and brightest industry thought leaders to the historic Englert Theatre in Downtown Iowa City, Iowa for two days of interactive learning. These newest additions to our line-up are no exception.

After six years at Ford Motor Company as a strategic advisor on crisis communications, influencer relations, digital customer service, product launches, and more, Scott Monty launched Scott Monty Strategies. He counsels brands and agencies on strategy, executive communications, influencer management, customer experience, and digital initiatives. He also has a decade of agency experience with clients such as IBM Healthcare & Life Sciences, Coca-Cola, and American Airlines.

Part “idea whisperer,” part message strategist, and part presentation coach, Tamsen Webster is a cartographer for critical conversations — she helps people and organizations map the power of their message to the potential of their ideas. She’s the Executive Producer of TEDxCambridge and both the CMO and the SVP for Executive Communications and Coaching at Oratium.

Tim Washer is the Executive Producer of Rich Media Marketing at Cisco Systems, creating innovative comedic digital and social content that has been has been featured in Ad Age, ADWEEK, Fast Company, Forbes, Entrepreneur, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. His TV comedy appearances include HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, the Onion Sports Network, Conan O’Brien, and a T-Mobile commercial with Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Monty, Webster, and Washer join other previously announced speakers including Mark W. Schaefer of Schaefer Marketing Solutions and author Social Media Explained and The Content Code, Mitch Joel of Mirum and author of Six Pixels of Separation and CTRL Alt Delete, Amber Naslund of Sysomos and co-author of The Now Revolution, Tom Webster of Edison Research and co-author of The Mobile Commerce Revolution, and Laura Fitton of Hubspot and co-author of Twitter for Dummies.

In addition to having an exciting new venue at the Englert Theatre in beautiful downtown Iowa City, we also have a fun new location for our opening reception. Full and VIP registration levels also get access to the opening night reception at Clinton Street Social Club, where they can join speakers for appetizers, cocktails, and continued conversations and networking.

There are three registration/access levels to choose from. Rates at all levels go up on August 1st. All attendees at all level will receive a free copy of Mark Schaefer’s newest book The Content Code. VIP attendees will receive a copy of Mitch Joel’s book, CTRL Alt Delete.   • VIP Access provides the most extensive Social Brand Forum experience. In addition to full access to both days of the event, the opening reception, and the Friday networking lunch, the VIP experience guarantees seating in the first few rows of the Englert Theatre, convenient access to power, multiple books from speakers, the pre-conference “fireside chat” with speakers, as well as special networking opportunities to get to know the event’s speakers.
